There is a vast body of knowledge from interculturalists as well as cross-cultural psychology, subjective culture, and inter-cultural management. What unites these approaches is the perspective that values are formed in our culture of origin. Yet coaches are not trained to identify cultural values and how our values are formed is often overlooked. Therefore, in a complex context such as a multi-national/cultural organization, whose values take precedence and why?
