Guest Bio'sCharmaine Pollard is an experienced coach and certified poetry therapist. She has been driven by her passion which includes resilience coaching for individuals and business coaching for sole traders and SME owners. In her practice, she utilises the transformative power of creativity by integrating writing and poetry with coaching techniques, enabling her clients to achieve their goals. She developed a 20-week coaching programme to raise aspirations for women survivors of domestic abuse, promoting economic equality and wealth creation. She is author of Writing for Resilience: Finding the Courage to Bounce Back, which is available on Amazon. Charmaine is hugely grateful for the local authority's funding and support, which helped realise this vision. Their decision to fund an untested but promising programme showed their commitment to empowering women as leaders and ending violence against women and girls.
