Nick Basannavar

Nick joined Included in 2020 and focuses on defining, delivering and measuring the company impact. He works with clients from various sectors to create meaningful impact both within and beyond organizational contexts. Nick is the lead author of Included’s ground-breaking annual Impact Report and sits on the management team.

Previously, Nick was an Associate Director at Deloitte, where he advised global businesses on organizational strategy, workforce mobility, inclusion and leadership development. Nick is also a social and cultural historian of post-war Britain and holds a Ph.D. from Birkbeck University London. His first book, charting the contemporary history of sexual violence, is forthcoming with Palgrave Macmillan (2021). He is a member of the UK-Japan 21st Century Group, having lived in or worked with Japan for most of his career, an Associate Fellow of a major Wellcome-Birkbeck research project on sexual violence (SH+ME), and an advisory board member for the Black Business Institute.
