056: Awareness of Privilege while Coaching with Julie Scanlon

"The more informed we are as coaches, the more we can support our clients."

Julie Scanlon, executive coach, consultant, and training facilitator, joins Dr. Alexandra Morgan in the first episode of our new series, Diversity and Inclusion in Coaching. The word privilege can provoke a defensive response in some people, often hearing it almost as an accusation or a suggestion that life overall is easy for those with privilege. Julia begins by asking, "What is privilege?" and explains how greater personal awareness enhances our relation to privilege as coaches.

Take part in Julie's Privilege Quiz to understand what privilege is and how to raise awareness and better support your clients.
